Plaka Sofi Suites requires a 50% deposit to confirm the booking via bank transfer on the day of booking.

 

The payment of the remaining amount is requested 30 days before check in

• During the summer season from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00.

 

• During the winter season from 15:30 to 17:30 and from 22:00 to 07:30.

 

• Summer period, the period from April 1st to September 30th is considered.

 

• Winter period, the period from October 1st to March 31st is considered.

 

 

 

Plaka Sofi Suite cannot accommodate infants and children under 6 years old.

 

Children under the age of 18 cannot check in without their parents or guardians present.

 

 

 

• Cleaning fee of €30/stay is not included in the price

 

• Environmental charge from €0.50-€1.50/night (depending on the season) is included in the price

 

 

 

• Acceptable bookings for stays of more than 30 nights, with a maximum of 90 nights

 

• Internet Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the property and is free of charge.

 

• There is no on-site parking, There is paid parking nearby.

 

 

 

 

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as they are legally binding between Plaka Sofi Suite and you, setting out the rights and obligations of each party.

 

 

 

After booking and at least 10 days before check-in, it is required according to Greek Law to send by email a photocopy of the Passport or Identity Card (only for European citizens) to be presented for tax purposes. If the passport or ID copy is not sent, check in cannot take place.

 

 

 

The apartment must be kept in good condition and delivered accordingly in good condition upon check out by the guests.

 

When leaving the apartment, guests must turn off the lights and air conditioners, close all windows and lock the door.

 

Guests should follow the posted instructions for use for electrical appliances.

 

The use of the balcony, located in the uncovered courtyard, is only for hanging clothes and is shared with the apartment next door.

 

It is expressly forbidden to use the metal ladder located on the balcony of the uncovered courtyard for safety reasons.

 

 

 

To complete the reservation, follow the Payment Method, according to which:

 

The initial deposit of 50% of the Total Amount Payable must be in our Bank Account within 1 working day of booking confirmation from Plaka Sofi Suite. The remaining amount is payable 30 days before the first day of the Rental Period. The damage deposit of 250 euros must be paid at check-in in cash or by credit card and will be returned at check-out as long as no damage is caused by the guests.

 

If your reservation is made within 29 to 0 days before the first day of the Rental Period, payment of the Total Amount must be made immediately to confirm the reservation from Plaka Sofi Suite. Payment must be made by direct transfer to our Bank Account (you will receive the bank account details after the booking request).

 

If payments as specified in the Payment Method are not received by the respective due dates, Plaka Sofi Suite reserves the right to immediately terminate this agreement and cancel your reservation and you will be denied access to the property. In this case, the cancellation policy in accordance with Article 5 of this document applies.

 

 

 

Once we have received the total amount paid according to the payment method, you will receive a written booking confirmation from Plaka Sofi Suite. Please read this confirmation carefully and contact Plaka Sofi Suite immediately if the information contained in it is incorrect or incomplete. Plaka Sofi Suite has no obligation to correct any errors or omissions reported more than 24 hours after transmission of the confirmation.

 

 

 

5.1 If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible and we will endeavor to accommodate the proposed changes, without charging additional fees if possible, however we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. If the above changes entail additional costs, you will be informed in writing of the changes and the costs that will be included in our contract, and the payment of the additional costs will be subject to article 6 hereof.

 

5.2 If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us immediately in writing. The following cancellation policy will apply, in the event that a replacement booking is not made:

 

Cancellation by you up to 30 days before the first day of the rental period: The deposit will be refunded

 

Cancellation by you less than 30 days before the first day of the rental period: no refund will be made

 

5.3 For cancellations up to 31 days before arrival, no charges apply.

 

If canceled less than 30 days prior to arrival due to force majeure, 100% of the total stay will be charged and the stay can be provided within the next 365 days.

 

In case of no-show, 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged as cancellation fees.

 

 

Please note check-in and check-out times and additional charges listed above. We will try to accommodate requests for early check-in and late check-out, but cannot guarantee feasibility.

 

Upon check out, guests must have left the apartment in good condition, thrown away their trash, washed all used cooking utensils, plates, glasses, and cutlery and placed all used towels in the laundry basket located in the bathroom.

 

A damage/security deposit of €250 must be paid in cash or by credit card at check-in and will be returned at check-out, as long as there is no damage to the apartment caused by guests.

 

 

 

7.1 The number of guests staying overnight in the accommodation cannot exceed the maximum capacity stated in the listing of the Plaka Sofi Suite, as well as in the reservation made by the guests. In the event that the number of guests exceeds the number of guests in the reservation, we reserve the right to request the extra charge for the extra persons / overnight stay and in the event that the guests refuse the extra charge, we reserve the right to ask all guests to leave the accommodation immediately.

 

7.2 You will only use the apartment for the purpose for which it has been rented to you (personal accommodation). The subletting of the accommodation, the use of the premises for any kind of commercial use during the rental period (photos, seminars) and/or the organization of parties for entertainment or events are prohibited. In the event that you make unauthorized use of the accommodation as directed, we reserve the right to ask all guests to vacate the accommodation immediately and retain the damage/security deposit as a reasonable penalty. You will not sublet the property under any circumstances. Photos taken at the property may not be used for publication or sold for profit without written permission from Plaka Sofi Suite and the owner.

 

 

 

Plaka Sofi Suite cannot be held liable to you or your guests for any accident or injury occurring during your stay under any circumstances, unless the accident or injury was caused by the gross negligence of Plaka Sofi Suite.

 

 

 

Plaka Sofi Suite cannot be held responsible to you or your guests for any loss or misplacement of valuables left at the property during your stay. You and your guests must keep safe deposit box codes confidential.

 

 

 

Plaka Sofi Suite cannot accommodate infants and children under 6 years old. Please note that the supervision, safety and behavior of your children is solely your responsibility.

 

 

 

Pets are not allowed in the property, in general.

 

 

 

 

According to the manager of Plaka Sofi Suite, you, or your guests, behave in a way that causes or is likely to cause danger, excessive disturbance (i.e. to neighbors) or damage to property (including common areas such as elevators, stairs, etc. ), or illegal actions or acts that violate any provision of the Booking Documents and therefore this Agreement may be terminated immediately, you will be required to vacate the accommodation and Plaka Sofi Suite will retain the damage/security deposit as a reasonable penalty. In this case, you will not receive any refund and will be held responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of your conduct or the conduct of your guests.

 

Smoking is prohibited in our accommodation.

 

 

 

13.1. The accommodation will be inspected by Plaka Sofi Suite staff before and after the Rental Period. You will be held responsible for any proven damage or loss caused to the accommodation and its contents. We recommend that you ensure that your insurance policy covers accidental damage to the accommodation and its contents.

 

13.2. You will be responsible for all costs associated with the loss of any keys or remote controls provided to you at the start of the Rental Period.

 

13.3. The damage/security deposit will be refunded upon check out as long as there are no damages caused by you. Any proven damages or losses in accordance with paragraph 6 will be deducted from the security deposit. In the exceptional event that the cost of repairing/replacing any proven damage exceeds the Security Deposit, you agree to cover the additional cost within 7 days of being notified by email.

 

 

 

The managers of Plaka Sofi Suite will do everything in their power to offer you a smooth stay, an accommodation can have malfunctions like any other house. Our goal to resolve any issue within 24 hours may not always be achievable due to time of day or day of the week, unavailability of technicians, etc.

 

 

 

Plaka Sofi Suite shall not be liable if the performance of this agreement is no longer possible due to force majeure. All of the following are considered force majeure: threat of war, act of terrorism, industrial action, hazardous weather, pandemic situations, fire, flood, drought, unexpected airport or port closure and unforeseeable changes in transportation, schedules, building/apartment damage, or any other event that is beyond the control of Plaka Sofi Suite.

 

 

 

16.1. Plaka Sofi Suite will act in accordance with the GDPR legislation, which concerns the protection of personal data. When you browse our website, we do not collect any information about you. All data is provided by you personally and enables us to process your final booking. This personal information will be retained in our database for future reference. Security measures are in place to ensure that our visitor database is not accessible to an unauthorized company or individual.

 

16.2. Plaka Sofi Suite needs to disclose certain personal data to its Financial Manager, but will not make the aforementioned information available to other third parties without your express consent. For marketing purposes, Plaka Sofi Suite requests your consent to use some of the stored information provided to contact you about your holiday and keep you informed of current offers. If you do not wish your data to be stored, except for our financial management, please inform us by e-mail.

 

 

 

17.1. Plaka Sofi Suite genuinely believes that the information and statements in the content of its website are accurate.

 

17.2. Every effort is made to provide a complete and accurate description of the accommodation and amenities.

 

17.3. Plaka Sofi Suite reserves the right to change the published information.

 

 

 

You are responsible for third party liability, health and medical repatriation insurances. Plaka Sofi Suite is not a travel agent, does not offer such insurances and is not responsible for the absence of such insurances.

 

 

 

All disputes arising between you and/or your guests and Plaka Sofi Suite and/or any of its employees, arising out of or in connection with the Booking Documents and/or your stay at the accommodation generally shall be settled by the Courts of Athens, Hellas.
